America: Fuck Yeah.
It's taken 6 years, but finally, FINALLY, it appears that just slightly over 50% of the just slightly over 55% of eligible American voters who actually show up at the polls have pulled their heads out of their asses and noticed that the country is going to Hell in a handcart. The Dems take both houses of Congress and Rumsfeld is forced out all in one day. Not a bad day. Oh, I also wanted to point out that the Economist sacked-up and called for Rumsfeld's resignation in a not-so-subtle way ... 2 1/2 years ago. Finally.

Yesterday, was definitely a great day! I was jumping up and down with joy as I read that Rumsfeld resigned...which probably ment that he was fired. It was great to see that the voters finally realized what was going on and what the rest of the world seemed to have realized far before our own citizens. I was happily surprised by the win in the Senate and now hopefully this administration will be held accountable for all of the fuck ups it has started. However, the democrats have a steep hill to climb and I hope their ideas and views concerning all facets of government make more sense then 'stay the course'. Way to go America! I can finally say that with a smile again. I am finally proud that we have woken up.
