Indecision 2006
Well it is voting time again for the United States of America and it seems as if every time Americans have a chance to vote...our reputation is on the line. At least that is my personal opinion, and that is why I find it so important. This time more then ever, I think, hope and feel that more people are going to turn out the vote that normally doesn't happen during the midterm elections. I believe more people will turn out then before. That is the only way we can make Bush into what he actually is...a lame duck. Now, it seems as if the Republicans continue to shoot themselves and\or friends (sorry about the pun, Cheney)...for example, the Foley Scandal, 106 deaths in Iraq for the month of October, sex scandals throughout the Evangelical church, a deficit as large as John Kerry's chin, usw. However, the Democrats don't seem to be taking advantage. I know that the polls all have the democrats ahead, but I don't really give a damn about polls. The only thing that matters if it turns out to be successful on November 7th. The problem with the Democrats other then John Kerry's botched Joke is that they have no plans for the future, at least they are not saying much about it. They need a leader with Charisma and they definitely don't have it...hopefully one gets some balls by 2008, or a vagina...perhaps (New York, I'm looking in your directions). It seems the Democrat slogan is vote for change...but they are not giving the american public any concrete details that they seem to love in this day in age. I don't feel that saying the Republicans are bad and we are good is enough. Why are you better? I guess I have the same questions as the republicans continue to ask and until the democrats start answering these questions...the public will continue to have doubts. I know I am not a republican but I have very little confidence in the democratic party at this time as well. Hopefully, something will change on Nov 7th, but I hope they deliver in the aftermath.
My predictions for the upcoming elections are that the democrats will win the House, but come up just short on the Senate. I personally don't really know what that will mean...but I know it is a step in the right direction...at least a different direction.
